Great rooms . Nice and clean.Good air con. Bed comfy and huge. Room nice and dark and quiet. The staff were excellent so friendly and welcoming. Lynne gave us a nice introduction and friendly face when we checked in and Michelle was super friendly and helpful at breakfast. This hotel is perfectly located at Chester services and was very reasonably priced. The 'basic' breakfast was lovely. The home baked pastries were divine. There was a choice of 3 cereals, 2 fruit juices, muesli, yoghurt and compote. Also toast and choice of tea and coffee. We highly recommend this hotel! Ps a few of the fixings/rails need to be secured but this is known.

Very nice, modern, clean room. Some noise during the night from other guests and the plumbing, so earplugs are recommended if you're a light sleeper. Friendly service. Basic, but tasty breakfast, pain au Chocolat are excellent. Plenty of parking.

Had a lovely 2 night stay here as a family of 4. 2 adults, 2 children.. staff were super helpful and friendly upon arrival and throughout. Family rooms are lovely! Spacious and tidy. Only downfall was the towel rail is hanging off but didnt completely come off and under the beds were very dusty (but not dirty). We went for lunch in the little restaurant and the food was fabulous! Children had spag bol and we shared a pizza, nothing went to waste :). Location was great, close to plenty of things around and considering it's part of a survives, it was very quiet. Would deffinitley return.

We've stayed, I think 3 times in the last 3months. We visit Cheshire Oaks and Chester Zoo a few times a year. It's clean, comfortable and comfy. Staff are really friendly, can't do enough to make your stay a great one, and value for money.

Lovely place to stop over, even though a motorway services is not the first place you would think to stop over. The room was quiet and well equipped with power points, TV with varying ability, individual heating controls, etc. The bed was a great size, very comfortable, and the bedding was clean and nice to sleep on. The shower was hot, clean. The staff were excellent - there when you needed them but not obtrusive. I was travelling out of Liverpool Airport, and whilst this is not the most obvious stop over, I would definitely use it again.

Family room was a great size with plenty of space. Little to no noise despite being in a service station next to motorway. Staff welcoming and great to be able to charge the car whilst you sleep at a competitive rate of £15.

The staff at the Super8 are first class and a credit to their industry. Extremely helpful and polite. Nothing is too much trouble when it comes to making your stay comfortable. Rooms are lovely, very clean and well presented. Altogether a very well ran motel. Well done to all involved.

We used this hotel as a one night stop and chose the compact bedroom. The bedroom (Room 9) Compact but enough room for everything for an overnight stay. the room was sparkly clean and well looked after. A larger TV at the end of the bed was good for easy viewing, the only problem being the remote could only be used for channel change and volume. The room had a shelf running along the same side as the bedhead and everything could be put on there - plenty of room. The bed was close to the window wall which meant I had to climb over my wife to get to bed. No problem for one night. Just glad I don't have to get up and pee! A small thin table down the side of the bed would be good for putting phones etc on. The pillows were, well hotel pillows which are either monster truck tyres or tin trays. These were more like the former and were not very comfortable. Plenty of electric sockets to plug our electronics into. The bathroom was small but well designed and the shower worked perfectly. Plenty of towels and shower gel. we took the tea and breakfast option at £22.95 each. I think we worked it out what we had was about £37 worth. For tea I had a delicious pizza and my wife had lasagne. Drinks were a gin and tonic and a prosecco. at night the room is very quiet (no motorway noise at all) and is a sealed unit. We did not use the aircon as it only went down to 18 degrees and we like our room colder than that. Breakfast the next morning was continental and there was plenty to eat - cereal, croissant toast crumpets and for another £2 a bacon or sausage Bap (we were too full). Drinks were tea coffee and orange juice. A word here about the staff. Both ladies at night and in the morning were friendly, helpful and genial. it was really nice to have someone that chatted. All in all I would recommend this hotel for it's cleanliness, friendly staff and reasonable food.
